What is the concept of Extraordinary Weekends?

The Extraordinary Weekends website www.extraordinaryweekends.com is meant for Axis Bank Cardmembers having the following Cards – Axis Bank Signature Credit Card, Reserve, Privilege, Select, Miles and More and Infinite Credit Cards. The website is an online property to discover and book curated weekend experiences across top restaurants, spas, hotels and handpicked unique experiences, exclusively for Axis Bank Affluent Cardmembers. Users will need to book each of these experiences online to avail of the benefit.

  • For dining, users can make free reservations and enjoy benefits – typically 15% discounts on entire bill of food and drinks.
  • For staycations in 5-star hotels, users will need to book a package by paying Rs.5000 flat on the website, while the remaining can be paid directly at the hotel. Each Staycation experience is a curated experience involving stay and other privileges at the hotel.
  • For unique experiences, users will need to book by paying Rs.1000 online and the remaining can be paid directly to the Service Provider. Each curated experience comes with significant pricing advantages.
  • For wellness experiences, users will need to book by paying Rs.1000 flat on the website and are eligible to enjoy 15% discount on any spa package they choose. The remaining amount can be paid directly at the venue.
  • Users can also avail of golf benefits – the details of which can be found here.

All payments – both online and offline – need to be made using the Axis Bank Affluent Cards as mentioned above. The website does not accept any other Card or payment option.

Which cities are covered under the Extraordinary Weekends website?
Currently, www.extraordinaryweekends.com offers over 90 experiences across Bengaluru, Delhi NCR and Mumbai.


What’s not allowed on Extraordinary Weekends website?
Extraordinary Weekends is a service to book curated experiences in your city and enjot benefits. Hence it is not suited for:

  • Making normal reservations at the merchant outlets for any other experience option / package other than the ones specifically mentioned.
  • Anything that could be offensive to others.


How do Category and City filters work?
You can simply filter the weekend experience options by Category or City to determine your choice of activity or experience. If you select Mumbai listing page of Extraordinary Weekends, you will see all available options in Mumbai. You can further filter by category and see experiences listed under that category in Mumbai only.

What does it cost to become a Extraordinary Weekends member?
Absolutely nothing. Becoming a member or signing up for Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends is absolutely free.


How do I sign up?
Signing up for Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends only takes a minute. You have to click on the Sign In link, and in the lightbox or page you can create an account by filling in your information – your email id, a valid password of min. 6 digits, your full name and the first 6 digits of your Axis Bank Credit Card. We ask you to enter only the 1st 6 digits of your Axis Bank Credit Card to determine if you are eligible for the offers, as all the offers are available to select customers.


I forgot my password. What can I do now?
Don't panic! If you forgot your password, visit the ‘Forgot password' page and you’re all set.


How do I cancel my account?
At the moment, you cannot cancel your account by yourself. However, if you really want that, you can drop us a line at helpline@extraordinaryweekends.com mentioning that you do not wish to have a login ID on www.extraordinaryweekends.com.


Extraordinary Weekends Bookings


How does the Extraordinary Weekends Booking work?
Once you have selected your choice of the Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends experience, you can book either by logging in or as a guest. For each offer, the booking steps are clearly mentioned as Step 1, Step 2, etc. The steps include selecting a date, a package and number of people / rooms, selecting a time and filling up your mobile number. For restaurant bookings, you need a minimum of 2 people to complete a booking. All restaurant bookings are free. For booking staycations, there is an online booking fee of Rs.5000, which needs to be paid online using Axis Bank Credit Cards. For Unique Experiences and Wellness, the online booking fee is Rs.1000. The remaining amounts (adjusted after discount) can be paid directly with the Service Provider. Upon submitting the booking form, you will be redirected to a Checkout Summary page where you can check all the details and then click on “Proceed to Payment”. You will be redirected to a secure payment page, which is powered by our payment gateway PayU. Simply enter your Axis Bank Credit Card details and make the online transaction. Post successful transaction, you will see a Confirmation page, and also receive a confirmation email from Extraordinary Weekends Concierge and a confirmation SMS from XWKEND.


Why are you charging the booking fee?
The booking fee of Rs.1000 for wellness and unique experiences and Rs.5000 for staycations is to ensure against any fake, dummy or frivolous bookings. This is not an extra fee and this will get adjusted against your entire payable for your Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends experience. For instance, let us assume you are making a reservation for an experience whose original price is Rs.2500 and offer price is Rs.2000. Your reservation is for 6 people. You are entitled to Rs.3000 discount. You would be required to pay Rs.1000 online to make the booking and the remaining Rs.11000 directly to the Service Provider. Without this benefit, you would have paid Rs.15000. With this program, you make a savings of Rs.3000.


I have made a restaurant reservation for 1 PM. But I am delayed. What do I do?
Tables for your Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends reservation at any restaurant will be held for 30 minutes. In case you are delayed further, kindly contact Extraordinary Weekends Helpline at +91 8880-023-023 or helpline@extraordinaryweekends.com immediately and we will take care of your request.


How do I know if my reservation is confirmed?
If your reservation gets confirmed, you should automatically get a confirmation SMS and an email from Extraordinary Weekends Helpline. In case you got the confirmation message on screen, but didn’t get a confirmation SMS or email, do get in touch with us immediately. There are times when the mobile service providers in India may not work perfectly, but they are rare!


What if the restaurant / hotel / spa / service provider doesn’t honor my reservation, after I have received confirmation?
There are bleak chances of that happening, as we regularly update and manage partnership contracts with all partners. In the unlikely event of that occurring, instantly call us at +91 8880-023-023 and we will sort it out for you.


What if the restaurant / spa / experience provider doesn’t honor the promised discount?
Like the question above, there are bleak chances of that happening but in the unlikely event of this happening, probably it’s a case of a change of personnel that happens at the premises of the service provider without a proper handover-takeover. In that case, kindly show them the confirmation SMS and/or email that you have. If even that doesn’t work, kindly call us immediately – we will sort that out.


Is there a cap on the savings I get from Extraordinary Weekends?
No. It’s a plain % savings on the mentioned amount per head. For instance, let us assume you are making a reservation for a spa package whose original price is Rs.2000++ per head and through this website, you are eligible for a 15% discount. Your reservation is for 6 people. You are entitled to Rs.1800 pre-tax discount. You would be required to pay Rs.1000 online to make the booking and the remaining Rs.9200 (+ taxes and service charges) directly at the spa. Without this benefit, you would have paid Rs.12000 + taxes + service charges at the restaurant. With this program, you make a savings of more than Rs.1800.


Is it safe and secure to make bookings on the Extraordinary Weekends portal?
The trust and safety of Axis Bank Cardmembers are our biggest priority. We aim for the best experience possible for any transaction happening on our Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends website, and our payment system plays an important role in that. We use a highly secure payment system that is verified by and compliant with industry standards and regulations.


What about my children? Can I bring them with me?
Unless explicitly stated, yes you can definitely bring your children along. If there is no differential pricing mentioned explicitly on the website, the pricing for children will be the same as that of adults.


Can I bring my pet/animal?
That depends on the Service Provider. Please make sure you contact us or the Service Provider before you bring your pet or animal.


Does the price of an experience mentioned on website include taxes?
Yes, all prices mentioned are all-inclusive.


Can I pay the remaining bill using a non Axis Bank card?
NO, the entire bill has to be paid using Axis Bank credit card only in order to enjoy the exclusive benefits.


Can I contact you before I book an experience?

What if a restaurant / spa / hotel asks for more money when I arrive?
All pricing details will be included on the confirmation page and the confirmation email after you have made a successful reservation. The offers are as explicitly mentioned. In case you consume anything extra outside the purview of the package or experience as listed on the website, you will need to pay extra for that.


Do I have to print out my confirmation or some kind of coupon? What about calling ahead to remind the service provider?
No on both fronts - once you make your Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends reservation, all you need to do is show up at your appointed time with your party and remind your server that you made your reservation through Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends website. At the end of the experience, ensure the correct discount or offer has been applied and be prepared to show your reservation email and/or SMS.


Am I able to change an existing reservation?
Yes. You can either call us and our Helpline desk will do it for you.


If something comes up, can I cancel my reservation?
Yes, either you would need to call us in case you need to cancel your reservation, or you would need to login to www.extraordinaryweekends.com, go to ‘My Bookings’ page in your dashboard, and request a cancellation. You can request a cancellation by sending an email at helpline@extraordinaryweekends.com. Kindly note that all Cancellation requests will strictly adhere to our Cancellation Policy.


Payments


Why should I book experiences using your payment system? Our biggest priority is to offer the best experience for both organizers and participants. Therefore, trust and security are extremely important to us. We aim for the best experience possible for any transaction happening on Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends, and our payment system plays an important role in that. This means all your transactions are secure and in good hands. By handling bookings through our payment system, we can: Protect merchant partners and Axis Bank Cardmembers through our cancellation policy. Both parties are protected in the case of cancellation; Make sure Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends Helpline is always there to help you out; Ensure a safe transfer of money between merchant partners and Axis Bank Cardmembers; Keep both parties informed about important updates concerning the experience. What currencies do you support? Payments on www.extraordinaryweekends.com are limited to INR only.


Which payment methods do you support? At the moment, Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends supports standard online transactions. They include specific Axis Bank Credit Cards. This program is not available to any non-Axis Bank Member.


How can I get a receipt for the booking I have done? At the moment we do not provide receipts. But the confirmation email is proof of your booking and the fact that your account has been charged. You can find all details in your dashboard.


I got an email saying, “Payment is not completed”. What should I do? It means your transaction didn't go through. You should make another payment. In the rare case you are double charged, we'll refund the extra amount without deducting any charge. Contact us if you have any further questions.


Cancellations & Refunds


As a service provider, what happens if a guest cancels a booking? As a merchant, you are covered by the Cancellation Policy, which is stated in our Terms and Conditions.


How do I cancel my booking? As someone who books a Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends experience, you have accepted the Cancellation Policy stated in our Terms and Conditions. If you need to cancel a booking, simply go to your dashboard and go to the ‘My Bookings’ tab and you can request cancellation directly from there. Also,you can request a cancellation by sending an email at helpline@extraordinaryweekends.com. Kindly note that all Cancellation requests will strictly adhere to our Cancellation Policy.


What happens if the merchant cancels the experience I’ve booked? If the merchant needs to cancel an experience that you've booked, you will be notified either by Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends Helpline or the partner merchant as soon as possible, and you will immediately receive a full refund, if applicable. Of course, you can always contact us at helpline@extraordinaryweekends.com if you have any questions.


What happens if a guest doesn't show up for his booking? If a participant has not shown up to your activity without any notice, you have a few options. The confirmation email will have the guest’s contact information, you can contact the guest directly and figure out a solution together. Else, kindly inform Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends Helpline immediately.

Does Extraordinary Weekends ensure some kind of liability waiver for guests or merchants? Not at this time. By offering your Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends experiences on https://www.extraordinaryweekends.com, you accept responsibility for yourself, your guests and anything that may or may not happen at your premises. Why should I provide my phone number, and who can see it? By providing your mobile number you're not only showing to us that you're real and responsible, you're also likely to have a better Axis Bank Extraordinary Weekends experience. It's always good to be within reach in case of unforeseen circumstances – in case you are running late, the restaurant / spa can call you and keep your seat reserved. The mobile number is used to send a confirmation SMS upon successful booking. We do not use your mobile number in any way except to send you confirmation messages or reaching out to you in times of urgency. Rest assured that your privacy is very important to us.
